Joe Bradley (b. 1972, Maine, USA) received a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1999. He garnered wide-spread praise for his 'Robot Paintings' when they were displayed in the 2008 Whitney Biennial. His work continues to push the boundaries of painterly abstraction through series like the 'Schmagoo Paintings' and 'Cave Paintings.' Bradley lives and works in New York where he also sings in the band Cheeseburger.
