Danh Vo (b. 1975, Vietnam) studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, Denmark and the Städelschule, Frankfurt. He was the winner of the 2012 Hugo Boss Prize, the 2007 BlauOrange Kunstpreis der Deutschen Volksbanken und Raiffeisenbanken, Berlin, Germany, and was a nominee for the Nationalgalerie Prize for Young Art, Berlin in 2009. In 2015, Vo participated in the Venice Biennale. Vo lives and works in New York and Berlin.
